Board Development, Strategic Planning, Marketing and Promotion for Organizations, Program Development

Writer and editor Judith Egerton received the 2009 Kentucky Governor’s Award in the Arts for her coverage of the arts at The Courier-Journal newspaper. For more than 30 years as a daily journalist, Egerton wrote about a broad range of subjects, most notably business and the arts. Her communications experience, analytical ability and knowledge of the state’s resources and art venues will benefit arts groups throughout the Commonwealth. Egerton’s professional skills and expertise are a match for organizations seeking to articulate a mission, develop a strategic plan of action, improve internal and external communications, enhance marketing efforts or resolve other development and program issues. As a former board member, treasurer and vice president of the American Theatre Critics Association, Egerton understands the fluctuating dynamics of boards and the need for perennial assessment of shared responsibilities. As a writer and painter, she empathizes with artists and their passion to express themselves through art.

Egerton is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Kentucky, a critic fellow of the O’Neill National Critic’s Institute, an award-winning watercolor artist and member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society. For fun and exercise, she skates with a competitive synchronized ice skating team.
