Yuha Jung is an attorney at Laura Solomon & Associates, where she advises nonprofit organizations, arts and cultural institutions, and mission-driven organizations on governance, compliance, policy development, and organizational restructuring. Her practice focuses on helping boards and leadership teams strengthen governance systems, improve organizational effectiveness, manage legal and operational risk, and navigate periods of growth and change.
Dr. Jung has extensive experience developing governance policies, conducting board training, reviewing organizational practices, and advising on nonprofit compliance and strategic restructuring. Her work is informed by years of research on nonprofit organizations, museums, historic preservation, and the legal and policy frameworks that shape the cultural sector. She is the author of Transforming Museum Management: Evidence-Based Change through Open Systems Theory and co-editor of Systems Thinking in Museums: Theory and Practice and The Oxford Handbook of Arts and Cultural Management.
With a JD, PhD, MPA, and BFA, Dr. Jung brings together legal expertise, organizational analysis, and practical experience to help organizations build effective governance structures and make informed decisions.
