Larry Watson has been a ceramic artist for 24 years. Recipient of numerous awards at exhibits and fairs, he has been published and featured in Ceramics Monthly, Crafts Report, Arts Across Kentucky, and was an arts feature writer for City Beat Newspaper in Cincinnati. He currently writes for AEQAI, an internationally recognized and award-winning online arts critique magazine. Mr. Watson was selected for Art Exchange programs to Kharkiv, Ukraine (1992) and Nancy, France (2006). He has taught several professional-level workshops, including Pricing and The Business of Art, Attracting Perfect Customers, Relationship Networking and Building Your Etsy Shop For three years, he was an adjunct professor of art at Northern Kentucky University. He has served as board member and president of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, and has served on the advisory committees of the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, and the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. He has been certified by the University of Massachusetts’ Craig Dreeszen, Ph.D., in consulting and mentoring, and is an advisor in the Kentucky Peer Advisory Network of the Kentucky Arts Council, and received multiple awards from the Kentucky Arts Council, including Kemtucky Crafted Emeritus. He holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from Eastern Kentucky University. Mr. Watson is a transformation and career coach, certified by the Legacy Center.
