Suzanne Gray is a consultant with over 20 years’ experience in arts management, public relations and government.
Formerly a senior manager at the Kentucky Arts Council, Suzanne has worked with communities, businesses and organizations to develop and implement arts programs and strategies that make the best use of their cultural and economic assets.
She had been a key advisor on several major public art projects throughout the state including the Arts2O sculpture project on the Kentucky River, Frankfort’s Arts Downtown mural and sculpture project, and Abraham Lincoln sculptures in Springfield and Hodgenville, Ky. Active in her community, Suzanne was a co-founder of FrankArts, a public art advocacy group in Frankfort and has worked on several successful local arts projects.
In addition to her arts experience, Suzanne served as a legislative aide in Washington, D.C., and as an international relations specialist in Texas state government. This unique blend of experience brings both the skills and vision to assist clients in strategic planning, organizational development, advocacy, event planning, program development and public art.
She holds an MA in Art History and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Kentucky, as well as a B.S. from the University of Florida.
