​Delaire Rowe's professional experience has included being a practicing artist, teaching artist, and arts administrator. She served as executive director of Arts for All Kentucky, a statewide arts and disability organization previously known as VSA Kentucky, for 14 years. Prior to that she worked as a teaching artist for Arts for All Kentucky, the Kentucky Arts Council, and as an independent contractor through her own business, Delaire Rowe Art Studio in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Delaire has also worked as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Art at Western Kentucky University and as art teacher for St. Joseph Interparochial School in Bowling Green.

Her education includes a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Indiana University in Bloomington and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the City University of New York at Brooklyn College. She was also honored with a fellowship at Yale University's Summer School of Art and Music as an undergraduate. Since then, she continued her professional development provided through the Kentucky Arts Council and the Office of VSA and Accessibility of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. This included methodologies in Universal Design for Learning and Multiple Intelligences.

Since retiring from her position at Arts for All Kentucky, Delaire began working as a consultant for the Galleries at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC) and teaching an art class at the Med Center Health Adult Day Center in Bowling Green. These varied experiences have provided her with a unique perspective on working in the arts as an individual artist, with arts organizations, and with schools. She sees the arts through the lens of a professional artist, an educator, and administrator in providing accessible programs for community organizations.

The arts are for everyone and provide us with different ways of expressing who we are, what we know and feel."
